ESC worked with the Local Government Unit and the awarded contractor in the Visayas region of Philippines for the supply of a custom 21m single span 4.2m width single lane steel bailey bridge with a maximum loading allowance of 15mT.
Using a tried and tested modular design, ESC produced an economical and robust bridge system that was tailored to the requirements for the project. ESC coordinated the complete delivery all the way up to the project site and also
supervised the assembly process to ensure the 311 component parts and 436 bolts were properly installed.
The assembly of the bailey bridge after anchors were set took only 4 days which is multiple times faster than any other bridge design.
